'Low Price' vs 'Standard' Ticket
At Öresundslinjen you can choose between two different tickets: so-called ‘Low price’ tickets and ‘Standard’ tickets. Although the standard tickets are a lot more expensive (starting price is 122 euros), you can make the crossing 8 hours before or after the booked departure time. With a cheap ticket this is one hour before or after the crossing. So you have less leeway.

As one of the few ferry companies, Öresundslinjen offers affordable rates for seniors (65+). Have you reached this age? Then it is smart to pay close attention to the right tickets, because this will save you money on your crossing.
Savings tips
Easily save on your tickets at Örensundslinjen
Based on our own experience, here are some tips to easily save on ferry tickets from Helinsgor to Helsingborg:
- Are you sure what time you will arrive? Then go for the cheap ticket and not for the regular tickets.
- Are you traveling with seniors? Then double-check whether you are buying the senior ticket and not the normal ticket
- Book on time; Öresundslinjen uses dynamic prices and these can therefore be higher if you want to get a ferry ticket last minute
- Buy your tickets in advance: at check-in it is much more expensive (680 SEK, £ 51 , as can be seen in the image on the right).
